Scholarship
A strong advocate of education Manuel understood the sacrifice many must make to pursue a higher education.
Sometimes our dreams and aspirations need a helping hand in order to ensure that we succeed. His experiences taught him that often times work has to come before school, because plain and simply we have to survive.
He envisioned creating this scholarship to assist individuals that are faced with the challenges of managing work and school. The funds are meant to provide some revenue that will ensure that those selected are not forced to choose employment over education, while preparing for their future. The first scholarship will be awarded in the fall of 2010 in the amount of $750.00 and subsequently each semester.
